Sponsorship Opportunities
1) Diploma Program (Certified Canine Psychotherapist):
This intense one-year course includes a renowned mentorship program that has proven to provide graduates with the skills they need to succeed professionally, changing the lives of dogs and pet parents locally and globally.
This program is industry recognized, providing non-aversive, evidence-based practices for addressing behaviors common among adolescent dogs, and behaviors associated with aggression and anxiety. As the leader in psychotherapeutic practices, and the only recognized institute teaching Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CCBT), this program is the Gold Star for practitioners working with pet parents, fosters, rescue organizations and shelters.
The students and graduates include Psychiatric Nurses, Holistic Veterinarian Technicians, Consultants and Coaches, Trainers and Behaviorists, Health Care Professionals, Groomers, Pet Care Professionals, Shelter Staff, and IT Specialists in the Animal Industry.
Graduates are excelling, professionally and personally, by decreasing behavioral surrenders and euthanasia, increasing adoptions, preventing relinquishment and abusive practices, and supporting a movement toward treating animals as sentient beings.

2) Certified CCBT Practitioner
This industry recognized program is specifically designed for volunteers and professionals working with shelter, rescue and adopted dogs. The program consists of the first four sections of the Diploma Program (#1) and a mentorship program to apply the strategies with dogs local to their area or virtually.
This program teaches the evidence-based formula proven to effectively integrate dogs over six months of age into homes. The program aligns with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a method that respects autonomy, provides agency and creates a mental and emotional bond between the dog and the human.
Ensuring a local behaviorist, volunteer or advocate is equipped with effective practices to integrate these dogs into homes and prevent or address behavioral concerns improves the fostering process and increases successful adoptions.
Program Cost per Student: $1,197.00
Sponsorship Amount: $900.00

Raghad, a young woman in Egypt, reached out, explaining she has taken dog training courses offered in her community, but the methods do not align with her ethics. She works at the local shelter, but feels she is unable, based on the limited knowledge and skills provided by courses, to help the dogs overcome behavioral issues preventing adoption. She also has her own dog training company, which while is successful, she feels ill-equipped to provide her clients with effective strategies to prevent behavioral surrender or euthanasia. Raghad resonates with Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because of her interest in animal-assisted therapy for humans. She received the Introduction course pro-bono by ICP, in which she excelled. She is very eager to continue her learning with ICP and is looking for a sponsor. We are confident on her dedication and her ability to apply her skills to benefit her community. In Conclusion
Over the last four decades, our CEO, Billie Groom, has worked with hundreds of adopters and fosters with dogs from northern communities (First Nations), streets of Mexico and Costa Rica, the dog fighting ring, Korean Meat Market, abusive situations, as well as war and disaster survivors, and Galgos from Spain, to name a few. For over three decades, Billie applied CCBT to approximately 125 cases per year, solidifying the method and developing supportive research work based on a substantial pool of case studies. ICP was launched in the end of 2024 to provide a platform for others to learn advanced practices to add to their skills, knowledge and experience. ICP is awarded by Corporate Vision Magazine for setting the gold standard in the industry for 2024 and 2025.
